Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for tuition, fees, donations, and Spirit Store purchases at Valor Heights. If anything here is unclear, contact us at info@valorheights.school — we're happy to walk you through it before you enroll or make a payment.

Tuition

Tuition is prorated by full month. If a student withdraws during the school year, the family is responsible for tuition through the end of the month in which we receive written notice of withdrawal. Tuition for the full months remaining after that month will be refunded.

A few points to make this concrete:

• Withdrawal must be in writing. Email your withdrawal notice to info@valorheights.school. The date we receive your written notice — not the student's last day of attendance — is the date used to calculate the refund.
• There are no retroactive refunds. Tuition for months already attended, in whole or in part, is not refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal, dismissal, or extended absence.
• Families on payment plans. If you pay tuition in installments, we will cancel all remaining installments for months after your withdrawal month. If you have prepaid tuition covering future months, the prorated balance will be refunded.

Example: A family gives written notice of withdrawal on February 10. February is charged in full. Tuition for March through the end of the school year is refunded (or, on a payment plan, those installments are canceled).

Application Fees

Application fees are non-refundable. They cover the administrative cost of reviewing an application, regardless of the admission decision or whether the student ultimately enrolls.

Enrollment Deposit

The enrollment deposit is non-refundable. The deposit secures the student's place in the class and allows us to plan staffing and enrollment for the year. It is not refunded if the family withdraws before or after the school year begins.

Other Fees

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of payment, all other fees are non-refundable once paid.

Donations

Valor Heights is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error — for example, a duplicate transaction or an incorrect amount — contact us within 30 days of the donation and we will work with you to correct it.

Spirit Store Purchases

All Spirit Store sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on store purchases. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will arrange a replacement through our fulfillment provider.

How to Request a Refund

Email info@valorheights.school with your name, the date and amount of the transaction, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within five business days.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 30 days for a refund to be processed and appear on your statement.
