Cherish Cahoon

Founder & Head of School

Founder and Head of School Cherish Cahoon leads Valor Heights with a vision for experiential, creative, and purpose-driven learning. Through her CompletED Experiential Learning Model, she inspires students to think critically, lead compassionately, and become changemakers who impact their world.

Treasurer

As a Vice President of Project Controls and Estimation, Steve brings deep expertise in forecasting, governance, and financial leadership to the Valor Heights board. Known for developing forward-thinking systems and models, he helps align the school’s mission with sound financial strategy.

Heather Nehila

Founding Board Member – Legal & Governance Advisor

Attorney and nonprofit consultant Heather Nehila provides strategic legal oversight and ethical guidance for Valor Heights. Her leadership ensures compliance, transparency, and sound governance as the school continues to expand its mission and impact.

Founding Executive Advisor – AI & Education Research

Harvard Professor and AI Liaison for the Government of El Salvador, Luis Gaitán guides Valor Heights in integrating emerging AI technologies through our AIM (Applied Intelligence Modeling) framework. His leadership connects our students and educators with global experts shaping the future of AI-driven learning and innovation.
