Who We Are

Valor Heights ("we," "us," or "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private school serving student-athletes in grades 5–12. Our campus is located at the GFI Soccer Complex, 27001 Lenze Rd, Spring, TX 77389. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at info@valorheights.school.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

Inquiries and contact forms. When you submit a question or request through a form on this site, we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

Admissions applications. When a parent or guardian submits an application, we collect information about the applying family and the prospective student. This may include the student's name, date of birth, grade level, current school, academic history, and athletic background, along with parent/guardian names and contact information. This information is provided by, and with the consent of, the student's parent or guardian.

Campus visit scheduling. When you book a campus visit, we collect your name, email address, and the details of your requested visit through our scheduling provider.

Donations. When you make a donation, our donation platform collects your name, contact information, and payment details in order to process the gift and issue a tax receipt. We receive your name, contact information, and donation amount. We never receive or store your full payment card number — payment processing is handled entirely by our donation platform and its payment processor.

Information collected automatically

We do not use analytics or tracking tools on this website. Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability purposes.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests
  • Review and process admissions applications and communicate with prospective families
  • Schedule and confirm campus visits
  • Process donations, issue tax receipts, and acknowledge donors
  • Communicate with current and prospective families about the school
  • Maintain accurate school and financial records, including records we are required to keep as a nonprofit organization
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone — ever.

Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate this website and the school. When you submit information through this site, it may be processed or stored by:

  • Formspree — delivers form submissions (inquiries and applications) to us by email
  • Google Workspace — where we store school records, including a secure log of form submissions
  • Calendly — handles campus visit scheduling
  • Zeffy — processes donations and payment information
  • Vercel — hosts this website and maintains standard server logs

Each of these providers processes your information on our behalf to provide their service. When you interact directly with one of them (for example, entering payment details on our donation page or booking a visit), their own privacy policy also applies. We encourage you to review those policies.

Apart from these service providers, we share personal information only when required by law, to protect the safety of our students and community, or with your consent.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for parents, guardians, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website. Information about prospective students — including students under 13 — is collected only from their parents or guardians as part of the admissions process.

Records concerning enrolled students are maintained under our internal student records policies and handled in accordance with applicable law. Those records are managed through the school's administrative systems, not through this website.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us directly through this website, please contact us at info@valorheights.school and we will delete it.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:

  • Inquiry information is kept as long as needed to respond and follow up, after which it may be deleted.
  • Admissions application information for students who enroll becomes part of the student's records. Application information for students who do not enroll is retained for a limited period in case the family reapplies, then deleted.
  • Donation records are retained as required for tax and nonprofit accounting purposes.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including using reputable service providers, limiting access to personal information to those who need it, and securing our accounts with strong authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to records we are legally required to retain
  • Opt out of non-essential communications from us

To make any of these requests, email info@valorheights.school. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can, and in any event within the time required by applicable law.

This site may link to websites we do not operate, including our facility and program partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
