Student-Led Inquiry, Real Autonomy
Our accredited CompletED curriculum emphasizes student-led inquiry, offering students a high level of autonomy and choice in their learning. Core subjects — Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies — are taught through an integrated, cross-curricular approach alongside electives, so knowledge from one subject carries into the next. Students put what they learn to work — building projects, publishing writing, and solving problems that matter to them.
Project-Based Mornings
Montessori-Inspired, Mastery-Driven
Mornings at Valor Heights follow a Montessori-inspired rhythm: short, focused lessons followed by long, uninterrupted work periods in mixed-age groups. Students don't sit through lectures — they build, write, research, and create. Teachers guide; students own their work.
Short Lessons
Direct instruction is tight and purposeful — just enough to launch meaningful independent work.
Long Work Periods
Extended blocks give students hours of uninterrupted time to go deep on projects.
Mixed-Age Groups
Older students mentor younger ones, building leadership and cementing their own mastery.

We Accept the Texas Voucher
Valor Heights accepts Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) — the state's new school choice program, also known as the Texas ESA or voucher. Approved families can apply their state education funds directly toward Valor Heights tuition, making a private, personalized education more accessible than ever.
