Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Our Commitment

Valor Heights is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We want every family to be able to learn about our school, apply, schedule a visit, and support our mission — regardless of ability or the technology they use. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, dropdowns, and interactive elements
  • Visible focus indicators throughout the site
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Accessibility review as part of our development process for site changes

Known Limitations

Some parts of this website rely on third-party services — including our campus visit scheduler, donation platform, and form provider. We do not control the accessibility of those embedded tools, though we have chosen providers with accessibility in mind. If you encounter a barrier in any of these tools, please use the alternative access options below and we will make sure you are not blocked.

If You Can't Use Part of This Site

No one should be prevented from inquiring, applying, visiting, or donating because of an accessibility barrier. If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact us at info@valorheights.school and we will complete the process with you another way — by email, by phone, or in person.

Feedback

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please email info@valorheights.school and describe the issue and the page where it occurred. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
